HALLOWEEN AT BRIGHTWORKS

We finished arc one and created our portfolios. Last week we took a week off between arcs to plan, design and prepare for a halloween party open to the public. There were three groups in charge of different things for the party. My group was in charge of games and activities.

Here were the games we came up with:

  • Eyeball Toss: you have bowls and cups as targets, they have “blood” (water and red food coloring) in them. Different targets mean different things. You have four plastic eye balls to throw. You get candy for prizes.
  • Spin the Spook Wheel: you spin the wheel, you land on 1, 2 or 3. (Tells you how much candy you get). Good luck!
  • Scary Face Targets: there are three scary faces stood up on a card board base. Scary faces have candy targets, try to hit targets with ping pong balls, get candy if done.

We also created a spooky scene which we got to act in. Our scene was a spooky graveyard with trick coffins that some of us jumped out of.

It was a lot of work to put the party together but it was a big hit and was worth it!
